Anonymous Third Party Reporting

Anonymous Third Party Reporting (ATPR) allows adult survivors (16+) of sexual violence the ability to report details of their assault to police through NSAC. 

If you are interested in ATPR, a trained staff member will meet with you to fill out the report detailing the assault/ event. You can meet with a staff member either in person, or via Zoom. You will remain completely anonymous, only the NSAC employee who takes the report will ever know your identity. The report is forwarded to police, who enter the information onto the national ViCLAS (Violent Crime Linkage Analysis System) Database. The information is compared to other entries to assist in the identification of repeat sex offenders and to determine trends.

It is not a substitute for calling 911 nor is it considered an investigation; the crime cannot have been previously reported.
